FERGUSON, MO (KTVI)- “This process should be indicted. We could foresee what the outcome was going to be. And that’s exactly what occured last night.”
Reverend Al Sharpton along with Brown family attorneys Benjamin Crump and Anthony Gray, held a press conference Tuesday morning to address the grand jury’s decision. Members of the National Action Network and Michael Brown Sr. were also in attendance.
Michael Brown’s mother Leslie McSpadden did not attend the conference that took place at the Greater St. Mark Family Church located at 9950 Glen Owen Drive in Ferguson.
Sharpton and the attorneys argue that this process was “supposed to give clarity.” Sharpton says he has never seen a prosecutor hold a press conference to discredit the victim.
“A first year law student would’ve done a better job.”
The group has publicly objected to this process because “all across America young people are being killed by police officers.” They argue that their acts are not insane. “We know that our children deserve equal justice,” said Crump.
“For the sake of public trust, we pray that prosecutors will say we want people to believe in the system.”
The group argued that Michael Brown will not be remembered for ashes of buildings burned in Ferguson. “Let the record be clear, you have broken our hearts, but you have not broken our backs. We will continue to pursue justice,” said Sharpton.
Although the group was not surprised at the outcome it was their hope to be “in a different place.”
Brown’s parents released a statement after the grand jury decision was announced that read:
“We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions. While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.
Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer working the streets in this country wears a body camera.
We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction. Let’s not just make noise, let’s make a difference.”

Rev. Sharpton thinks that it was irresponsible and unnecessary to release the announcement at night. He told the crowd that those who acted in a destructive manner do not represent the spirit of Michael Brown. “If you’re on Michael Brown’s side, you walk with dignity. Don’t lower your standards.”
Sharpton explained that the job of the grand jury is to decide if there’s enough evidence to move forward. He along with the attorneys do not believe that the case was presented in a fair and balanced manner. “This is not about all of us liking each other. This is about all of us being bonded with a common goal,” said Sharpton.
The group believes that Michael Brown’s death has lit a new energy for police accountability.
Attorney Crump ended the press conference by letting everyone in attendance know, “We condemn the violent acts from last night but we also condemn the violent acts from August 9th that killed Michael Brown Jr.”
Honey Boo Boo’s mother is coming clean about her past, which she says includes her involvement with a second sex offender.
In an exclusive interview with “Entertainment Tonight” to begin airing Thursday, reality TV matriarch June “Mama June” Shannon explains why she was seen in the company of Mark Anthony McDaniel, a man who served 10 years in prison after being convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004 and who is a registered sex offender.
Shannon also says the father of two of her children is another man who was convicted of a sex crime.
“Shannon also revealed for the first time her claim that Pumpkin’s biological father is also the father of her 18-year-old daughter Jessica,” according to ET online. “His name is Michael Anthony Ford, he is a convicted sex offender who served time for sexual exploitation of minors after being caught on ‘To Catch a Predator’ in 2005.”
Her rumored involvement with McDaniel — who was recently released after serving a 10-year sentence — touched off a firestorm that resulted in the cancellation of the popular TLC reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” in October. The show centered around Shannon and her family, including 9-year-old daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, who came to fame competing in child beauty pageants.
It was announced in September that Shannon had split with Alana’s father, longtime love Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.
Shannon’s oldest daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, 20, has said McDaniel molested her when she was 8.
Shannon told ET’s Brooke Anderson that she does believe “that something happened” between her daughter and McDaniel and that she’s “told Anna not to bring up the past again. It would be hard for me.”
She said she’s seen him only twice since his release, once coincidentally and once at an arranged meeting for her 14-year-old daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, who grew up believing McDaniel was her father.
“Since 2 months to almost 6 years, she knew nobody but him,” Shannon said. “She was starting to resent Anna, and she was starting to ask me questions. I can’t answer those questions for Pumpkin.”
But Shannon now says Pumpkin’s biological father is actually Ford.
“Jessica and Pumpkin have the same dad, but Jessica’s dad has had nothing to do with her over the years,” she said. “So, why the hell would I open up that can of worms until today? I lied to my family and told them it was somebody else.”
Shannon said she wanted to do the interview to clear the air.
“I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to lose,” she told ET. “I just want, honestly, to tell my side of the story, and let’s move on.”
I’m sure somewhere there is a method to this madness and who knows, perhaps when it’s all said and done it could be a twitter hack. However Super producer Diplo made a tweet with a link that is raising money to buy Taylor Swift a new butt.
Of course this has caused a lot of backlash for Diplo because as we know Taylor Swift is beloved by pretty much every breathing creature on God’s green earth, well maybe not Kanye. Pop star Lorde served Diplo up some social media Ether by responding with a low blow tweet of her own.
It will be interesting to see where this ends. Maybe Diplo and Kanye will team up and make a song about all of this one day.
Those who were waiting to see Miesha Tate battle it out with Bethe Correia will have to settle for their Twitter war. Since Bethe is injured so Tate’s new opponent will be Sara McMann.
This weeks match of the week comes from one of the biggest matches in Wrestlemania History. Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 6. It was the first time that two Face characters headlined a huge event and it changed the course of wrestling as in the past most all storylines were Heel vs. Face. Enjoy
Starting today I will be selecting a match of the week, and this weeks match I caught on the WWE Network on Main Event. It was Tyson Kidd vs Sami Zayn. This was an incredible technical match. These two are super talented athletes this match was pay per view worthy. Hope you enjoy.
